ABOUT THIS DATABASE > Welcome to this private compilation of articles, essays, interviews, artist profiles etc. on Malaysian art, with a focus on the contemporary art scene. These articles form my private scrapbook of knowledge and information and are not used by me for commercial purposes. As there are very few places in Malaysia where one can obtain good art books or articles on Malaysian art, I simply wish to share this information with those who are not fortunate enough to access them. At the same time, I am hoping this material will spark interest in what the Malaysian art scene has to offer. Since 2002, the Database has been useful to educators, artists, essay writers, students, tourists, gallerists and others.
